How I met Donald Fagen
Walter Becker and Donald Fagen were awarded their honorary doctorates during the first of my two graduations from Berklee College of Music in Boston. They are a couple of cool cats – and nice, smart guys.

We had George Martin at my 1992 ceremony….the following year they had Sting…. I got gipped.

I was there for 2002 and it was David Foster and Shirley Horne… but then in 2003 it was STEVEN F@#%ing TYLER!!!!!
